The partnership of Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford is as great as the one of Bonnie and Clyde, Will and Jada, Mario and Luigi and will go down as one of the most respected and appreciated partnerships because of their creation which has changed the lives of motor-heads all over the world, the Aston Martin.

Since 1913, Aston Martin has been defining beauty, luxury, class and performance in all their vehicles. From the DB5 in 1963, to the introduction of DBS in 1967, then comes the Vantage, Virage, DB7 in 1993, the V12 Vanquish in 2001, the stunning One-77 in 2009, the four-door Rapide in 2010 and of course the re-modeling of the models during the decades.

Not only have the models changed but also the logos have altered drastically. The famous Aston Martin logo changed 3 times in just under a decade then came two changes until they stayed with one since 1987. Of course, when you think of classic Aston Martin, you think of a certain Englishman with a deep, intimidating voice and no, I'm not talking about Helen Mirren. You know I mean Bond, James Bond.

James Bond revolutionized Aston Martin from the 23 epic films and with the surprise return of the classic DB5 (I was heartbroken too after it was destroyed), Bond fans were jumping off their seats witnessing one of the greatest classics in auto history.

Which logo is your favorite?

Aston Martin have released a video (available below) celebrating '100 Years of Power, Beauty, Soul' as well as images of an Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition alongside a classic car of the earlier years.

Aston Martin has truly marked their spot in the heart of all car lovers, especially those with a classic taste of luxury and panache.
Take a minute and feast your eyes on what I like to call 'pure magnificence'.
