March has quickly become known as "Art Month" in the city of Dubai and you'd better pay attention to Design Days Dubai if you're a fan of high-end collectible design. The inaugural edition of Design Days Dubai, the Middle East’s and South Asia’s first design fair, is dedicated to the collectible and limited edition design and will showcase exclusive high-end design pieces by 22 international and regional design galleries. The galleries will present the creative strides and investment opportunities offered by the purchase of high-end design for the first time in Dubai.

Design Days Dubai will take place from March 18 to 21 at a venue by the base of Burj Khalifa in downtown Dubai. Each gallery will present its collections at dedicated pavilions in settings that highlight a new dimension to design. Visitors have the opportunity of discovering the endless possibilities of designs offered in the modern world.

Coletivo Amor de Madre from Brazil and Croft from Seoul, South Korea are amongst the participants in the galleries; they are both participating for the first time in a design fair outside their home countries. The fair will also feature the premiere of La Galerie Nationale which specializes in modern design.

The fair includes design artistis like Jedd Novatt, Guy de Rougemont, Joseph Walsh, Frederik Molenschot, Christian Astuguvieille, Hans Kotter, Charles Kalpakian and Vito Selma. In addition, other key players which include The Carpenters Workshop Gallery will showcase their collectibles at Design Days Dubai.

The event is organized in partnership with the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, The Address Hotels + Resorts, along with Audi and Van Cleef & Arpels and it also coincides with contemporary art fair Art Dubai.

Design Days Dubai aims to provide a platform for designers to understand the trends in high-end design. It also offers the opportunity for the participating galleries to bond with the local manufacturers.
