Rahil Hessan is the designer behind Dubai’s leading fashion house Warda Haute Couture. Since the opening of the atelier in 2005, Hessan has become a favorite with both local and international socialites and celebrities. Best known for her use of luxurious materials, sleek cuts and impeccable tailoring, the clothes are distinctly Eastern with a hint of Western modernity.
The latest ‘Tiffany meets Warda’ Spring/Summer 2012 pret-a-porter collection is inspired by Audery Hepburn’s timeless style and glamour. The line consists of simple shift dresses that are distinct in their print and design. Some of the silk dresses are hand-painted by Rahil herself.
She has mixed bold yet stylish geometric patterns with rich silk, crepe and chiffons. The dresses are designed keeping in mind the modern woman who understands fashion and trends but has distinctly classic taste. The dresses are versatile enough to be worn during the day and then accessorized for a cocktail party in the evening.
