Were TV shows one of your main sources to pass time when you were bored? Are you freaking out that your favorite shows have ended and you won’t have anything to watch until September? Well don’t worry, there are many new shows that will premiere during the summer plus returning favorites to keep you entertained!
Returning Shows
Drop Dead Diva – After two successful seasons and being one of the most watched shows ever on Lifetime, Jane and the gang will be back for an exciting third season on June 19 after last season’s shocking cliffhanger. Expect hilarious guest appearances from Kathy Griffin, Paula Abdul, LeAnn Rimes, Wendy Williams, Mario Lopez and Wanda Sykes.
Pretty Little Liars – Will we finally know who “A” is? Did Ian die after falling from the bell tower? Who is the mysterious person who saved Spencer from certain death? Hopefully season two of last summer’s breakout TV show, which will start on June 14, will answer these questions and bring us more suspense and intrigue than ever before.
Hot in Cleveland – One of the most hilarious comedies since the days of Friends and Will & Grace, Hot in Cleveland will be back on June 15 to continue its second season. The show picks up right where it left off; after Elka was found guilty, she runs off to hide in an Amish community and the girls try to look for her. When the show premiered last summer, it was TV Land's highest rated telecast in the cable network's 14-year history!
True Blood – I know a lot of people are looking forward to season 4 of this wildly successful show, which is going to get crazier than ever with witches and fairies and shape shifters! The show will be back with 12 episodes starting on June 26 and will be loosely based on the fourth book, “Dead to the World”, in The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels which True Blood is based on.
Also coming back is Weeds (June 27), Royal Pains (June 29), The Big C (June 27), Breaking Bad (July 17), and Entourage (July 24)
