When Filwah Abdulaziz Al-Ohali started making bracelets and necklaces as a little girl, she had no idea that this playtime hobby would one day be her passion. After graduating from university three years ago at the age of 21, Filwah decided to take this passion one step further and turn it into a small business; bringing FAO Accessories (her name initials, pronounced “Faw”) to life.

Filwah believes she got the creativity gene from her mother; who has transferred to her the love of adding personal touches to almost everything thereby changing simple plain things into beautiful works of art. “I am proud to say that I am my mother’s daughter in that way,” says Filwah, who has grown fond of arts and crafts especially jewelry making since she was a kid; she buys her own unique materials from every country and place she visits and works on them in her own room. The outcome: gorgeous FAO Accessories!

Ranging from fabulous everyday accessories made up of threads and little charms to large over the top glamorous pieces adorned with crystals and pearls, FAO accessories offers endless options when it comes to the art of accessorizing. Whether you are into leather, chains, bangles, charms, or stones, you’ll definitely find something that will suit your taste.

In addition to necklaces, bracelets, and anklets, FAO Accessories also offers a variety of scarves, cell phone straps and even hot water bottles. You can now call in sick and chic! Best of all, FAO accessories are all hand-made by Filwah herself; not knock-off overpriced “Made in China” accessories.

Filwah’s plans include a dream of going farther with her accessories, such as adding gold and silver to them, as well as plans of breaking into the home accessories market. Home designers everywhere, beware!

If you are a fan of everything girly, boho, bold, or even glitzy, then we guarantee you will fall in love with FAO accessories.
