An exclusive screening of the documentary ‘Between Hope and Pain’ by Athlete-turned-Director Balsam Al-Ayoub and Producer Faisal Al-Duwaisan will be held at Mefazec’s co-working space, Floor 16, Al-Hamra Tower, Kuwait on Wednesday, August 10th at 7:00 pm.
The movie highlights the disappointment of nine Kuwaiti Olympic athletes who are unable to compete in the 2016 Olympics under the Kuwaiti flag due to a ban by the International Olympic Committee. ‘Between Hope and Pain’ showcases the raw emotions held by the athletes.
The screening will also include a Q&A with the makers of the documentary, as well as an enjoyable atmosphere created by Kuwait based coffee roasters; JUMO.
