Khaleejesque attended the fabulous launch for the new concept store: s*uce in the Hood at Citywalk Mall. S*uce in the Hood is a brand new multi brand concept by s*uce. The store features quirky and cutting-edge items but regional and international designers and the focus is on ‘every day wear’ or “whateverwear” with that touch of extra s*uce to make it more playful! Items include witty trucker hats, slogan tees and sweatshirts, deconstructed patchwork denim, Vintage embellished t-shirts, cross stitch and blinged tongue-in-cheek customised clutches, celebrity-favoured sweatpants with rose gold zippers, high tops, platform jelly shoes and lots lots more.
The block party themed event was a fun night with a surprise guest appearance by Guinness Book of World Records holding dancer Christopher Lawrence and his backup group of young girls and boys! The dancers together with DJ 50FILS kept the party going as everyone danced to the AWESOME old school hip hop songs.
There was a GHETTOSTATION where guests could get their ghetto on with caps, bandanas and blinged rings before entering the party! The party also featured a huge graffiti wall commissioned by Dubai-based graffiti artist Sya that read s*uce in the Hood in Arabic.
