Yasalam 2012, the highly anticipated entertainment festival surrounding the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit from November 2nd – 4th, is back again for the fourth time with extra activities, as well as a concert lineup that will have heads turning and bodies jumping.
Yasalam was first created four years ago to create a buzz around the F1™ race weekend in Abu Dhabi. Today, it has become the largest city-wide entertainment programme run by any F1™ host city.
Throughout October, the festival's programmes got families all across Abu Dhabi and the UAE involved in the celebrations, and the it will come to a big close on November 4th with the final After-Race Concerts at the du Arena.
Some of the hottest musicians from across the world will be performing at the free 'Beats on the Beach' concert, which will take place on the 1st and 2nd November, 2012 are CeeLo Green, Missy Elliott, Melanie C, Tamer Hosny, Maya Diab, and Hani El Omary.
As for the After-Race Concerts, pop star Kylie Minogue will perform on Friday 2nd November, the first night of the Yasalam After-Race Concert, and rock band Nickelback will play on the November 3rd. Notorious rapper Eminem will close the festivities on Sunday 4th November, after the 2012 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
SKYBAR Abu Dhabi will return this year as the only official party for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts from 1st – 4th November at the du Forum, Yas Island.
The 2012 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit from November 2nd – 4th with concerts taking place each evening at the du Arena behind the North Grandstand.
The concerts are exclusively for F1™ ticket holders. Concert tickets cannot be purchased separately. Attendees need to visit Yas Marina Circuit each day to collect their concert wristband, to get access to the Yasalam After-Race Concert that evening.
