It looks like the Gulf is making even more room for talent!
Inspired by what seems to be a growing innovative design trend in Riyadh, the upcoming event “Riyadh Design Days” aims to promote the future faces of design in the Gulf.
The event will be taking place from September 3-6 and RDD is working toward giving artists and design companies a chance to showcase their talents. Professionals, consumers, and local design collectors will be given the opportunity to display a product range of different types of design, including interiors, indoor and outdoor living, furniture, lighting, textile and upholstery, cultural objects, and graphic design. The event will exhibit 11 established designers throughout the gallery and 8 upcoming ones.
In order to obtain a booth at the gallery, designers must fill out an application form and pay for a booth. Anyone can apply for a stand at the event, including international applicants. For a chance to win a free booth, applicants can choose to apply through Maison Bo-M Galeries’ Mobdaoun Program, an initiative aiming to select designers who have potential to create a difference in innovative design in the Gulf. Eight winners from the graphic design, product design and interior design sectors will be selected and rewarded a free stand at the event.
Riyadh Design Days will take place at Maison Bo-M Galeries at Nujoud Mall in Riyadh from September 3-6, with opening hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and evening hours from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The ticket fee is SR 25 and will be available starting August 15.
