There is no doubt that the region boasts a multitude of creatives coming from different art and design backgrounds, but opportunities to exchange ideas and collaborate with them are few and far between. Not anymore. In comes Nuqat Foundation, a group of like-minded people who aim to develop a network of all creative specialists in the Middle East. Upon starting, Nuqat had one objective in mind and that is “to develop Arab creativity on all levels” be it in design, advertising, architecture, fashion, production and all the creative fields.

The biggest deisgn conference in Kuwait will take place from the 26th-28th of October with a special focus on visual pollution in the Arab world. The conference will include 4 lectures and 2 workshops per day for 3 days. Big designer names such as Reza Abedini, Tarek Atrissi and Rana Salam and much more will provide both lectures and workshops. As well as an exhibition with artists such as Experiment 1, Dr Farid Abdal, REUSE, Tabouq and much more. Not forgetting night performances by Loyac's theatre performance "Ommar Al Khayyam", followed by film screening on another night.

This is definitely an event that shouldn't be missed by all creative entusiasts. Just make sure you register as soon as possible as seats are limited. Registration is now online on www.nuqatfoundation.com. Lectures and workshops are paid for, and attending exhibition and night performance is for free.

Check out their website, Facebook page and Twitter page for more information and schedule of presenters and workshops.
